Future of Axis Woodworks

As we work through our current backlog of orders and requests, I think this is the time to update the visitors to this site that we will be closing down the business at least for a time.

We have decided to give some time of service in a mission field for the next several years and don’t know what lays beyond that for sure.

I’m confident that woodworking will always be in my blood and hope to resume once we return as opportunity arrises.

We really enjoyed this adventure and are sad to put it on the shelf for now but we want to do what is best.

At this time we are still waiting on the internal reed plates to complete our next run of pitchpipes.

We don’t have an ETA on this but will update the stock as soon as they arrive.

2026 Stock Update

Happy new year everyone! I wanted to give an update as to the status of pitchpipe availability in 2026.

I have placed an order for more pitchpipe internals and should have those around the end of January.

We plan to start another production run of pitchpipes shortly now that the holidays are past.

We have received quite a bit of interest from various people so we will notify those that have reached out first of upcoming new stock but we plan to have enough to provide some stock and selection.

The response was amazing this year! We thought we were coming into the Christmas season this year with plenty of stock but we found out that we had underestimated the demand.

Since this is not my full-time occupation, we have a finite amount of time for production together with living life… At this time we are working to fill the open orders and backorders for cases.

There will not be another run before Christmas but we plan to replenish stock after the first of the year. We will be notifying those that have contacted us when they are back in stock.
